Dinner with a Purpose

Wow! What an amazing evening! The first (of many) Dinner with a Purpose, to benefit the Tracey’s Place of Hope was held Tuesday night at Catta Verdera Country Club in Loomis, CA. Approximately 40 guests were welcomed to a special off-menu, 5-course dinner, each course carefully paired with a selection from the Frank Family Vineyard. Our chef and staff did an outstanding job! One of my favorites was the Smoked Gazpacho, but I really enjoyed that Pepper Crusted Filet Mignon! If that wasn’t enough, entertainment was provided by our emcees for the evening, Fred Biletnikoff and Mark S. Allen, who riddled us with trivia questions about each other. Do you know who Fred’s coach was his rookie year? How about what hazard in the San Francisco Bay made Mark, uhhhh, shall we say warm his wetsuit? Needless to say, a good time was had by all. One of our friends who regularly attends our big, annual Crabfest (this year’s event is coming up on November 4th! Register HERE) said this dinner was so much fun—with such an intimate setting, she was able to chat with and get to know everyone in the room. It wasn’t just a Dinner with a Purpose, it was a gathering of Friends for a Purpose.

Thank you Everyone! Until next time!
